By Friday afternoon, our area received a record breaking snow fall. Over a foot of now in Fort Worth, Texas!
The girls loved playing in it. I made a snowman with Sophie. Kenn shoveled off the sidewalk and then got the car ready for us to go eat breakfast together (since both school and work was called off). We went to eat at Denny's and then came home and enjoyed the snow some more.
About 24 hours later, it's 47 degrees outside and melting fast. Now we have rivers of water and lots of mud. Numerous snowmen in the community have lost their heads. I think that because we so rarely get this amount of snow, most of us don't know how to properly adhere a snowman head onto the body.
